Scouts and Guides At Don Bosco
- To learn about the biodiversity in the school premises.
- To conserve the natural resources like air, water, soil and biomass.
- To acquaint the students with alternative method to reduce the generation of waste.
- To develop gardening skills to grow different types of gardens and green walls.
- To make students familiar with the different trees and plants around our school.
- To make students aware of the conservation of resources and to work towards creating a green world.
Objectives

MOTTO
Be Prepared….. the meaning of the motto is that a scout must prepare himself by
previous thinking out and practising how
to act on any accident or emergency so
that he is never taken by surprise.
THE SCOUT / GUIDE BADGE
- The cloth badge is worn on the uniform.
- The Scout/Guide badge has a green background, with the Fleur-de-Lis in yellow on it, also it has the Guides Trefoil and the Ashoka Chakra superimposed.
SCOUT SIGN
- THE SCOUT SIGN IDENTIFIES YOU AS A SCOUT /GUIDE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.
- USE IT WHENEVER YOU GIVE THE SCOUT OATH OR SCOUT LAW.
SALUTE
A scout salutes with three fingers:
- The index finger
- The ring finger
- And the middle finger
